Jim Schell Club Caller
                                                         James Schell  Club Cuer 

      Jim has been calling for 37 year and round dance cueing since 2016. He has attended caller schools in Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York and Massachusetts. He is a member of Caller Lab, Old Colony Callers Association and Narragansett Callers Association.  Jim has been the club caller for the Town Howlers located in Portsmouth, Rhode Island since 1992 and is also the club caller for the Surfside Side 8's in Westerly, Rhode Island. He calls from beginners through A-1 and is also a Round Dance Cuer. Jim also called at the 64th National Square Dance Convention held in Springfield Mass. in 2015. He has called  at all the New England Square and Round Dance Conventions except for one in the past thirty-seven years. He enjoys traveling and guest calling for many clubs throughout New England. Jim has been a Round  Dance  cuer since2016. He has also called in New York, New Jersey and Florida. Jim and his wife Joyce are proud parents of two children and have two beautiful granddaughters.

 

                                           Mike & Joyce Alexander
                                                 Club Cuer

     In 1998 Mike and Joyce Alexander attended a Town Howler's Fun Night and before they left the hall Mike wanted to know where to sign up for square dance lessons. They soon discovered Round Dancing and immediately started lessons with Anna MacDougall in Taunton, Ma. Guided by Anna, Mike started cueing in 2002 and in  2006 he along with Anna were the Town Howlers club cuers. Mike has been the club cuer since 2012. He cues for many other clubs in R.I. MA. CT. N.H. N.Y. & FL. He is the club cuer for the Snobirds Square and Round Dance Club of Citrus Park in Bonita Springs, FL. and the club cuer for the Happy Promenaders in Naples, FL. during the winter months.
     Mike and Joyce teach Choreographed Ballroom Dancing & Round Dancing in Portsmouth, R.I. in the summer. They also teach in Florida during the winter. They were participants in the parade at the National Bid Ceremony where Springfield, Ma. won the bid for the 2015 National Convention.He has cued at the New England Conventions and at the National Conventions in Detroit, Michigan and Springfield, Massachusetts. Mike and Joyce are parents of two children. They have three grandchildren and have four great-grandchildren-
